Meet Fred

Fatts came into Animal Control as a stray. This poor guy was old and blind and weighed an incredible 14.2 lbs. He was already neutered, heartworm negative and housebroken. In 4 months, he's lost 5 lbs and is currently at 9.6 lbs.

He is really a pretty easy guy, not a big barker and is crate trained and housebroken if taken out often. He gets around quite well for being blind. He has no health issues and requires no eye meds. He is UTD on his shots and on heartworm and flea preventative. He is very sweet and just wants to sit in your lap and be loved on. He has had a dental.

If you would like to be give this older dog a warm place to sleep and a chance to be loved for the rest of his life, please go to http://www.chihuahua-rescue.org/chihuahuas-for-adoption/online-application/ and fill out an adoption application. Once you submit the application, we’ll be right back in touch with you. Thank you for making adoption your first option.

Reference checks and a home visit are required so he can only be adopted in NC/SC and VA. If you have any questions, please contact carolinascoordinator@chihuahua-rescue.com.

His adoption donation is $100.00.

If you are interested in volunteering as a foster for CRT, please go to http://www.chihuahua-rescue.org/volunteer/ and read our volunteer policy and then go to the link that takes you to the volunteer application page, choose your state and email the volunteer whose email automatically comes up and ask for an application to foster.
