Fred #11 Chocolate Labrador Retriever Mix Killingworth, CT

Meet Fred #11! He is looking for a forever home! Fred is approximately 2 years old and 55 lbs. He was shy when he first met his foster brothers and sister, but started to open up after a few days. He is a playful gentleman that loves to play and run around the yard with his foster siblings - both human and canine! He loves to go for car rides and enjoys going on walks so he can socialize with the community! Fred does well on a lead, but he is working on pulling. His foster family is using a harness to help him! Fred is also working on his basic manners, basic commands and going into his crate when asked. He enjoys being brushed out, but needs more experience with water/baths to learn to love it. Fred is housebroken and crate-trained. He is good with other dogs, both male and female, large and small. He is currently living with children and loves to play with them! He'd love a family that will continue to work with him on his basic manners. His forever home should have a fenced yard, so that he can run and play safely! Ask us all about this cutie!

ADOPTION FEES: $495 non-refundable adoption fee for all vet expenses (spay/neuter, shots, etc.) and transportation to ensure your lab gets to you in a safe, professional manner. All fees may be paid using PayPal, cashier's checks, or money orders. Labs4rescue does not accept personal checks for adoption fees. All adopters must pay their Labs4rescue adoption fee prior to the rescue shipping their dog.

Residents of Massachusetts or New Hampshire are required to pay an additional $125 fee, which defrays the cost of their state's mandatory 48 hour isolation and examination by a licensed veterinarian.
