Fred #11 Chocolate Labrador Retriever Mix Killingworth, CT

Hi! It's me, Fred #11! I'm a 2 year old 55 lb. lab mix looking for my forever home. I am currently in a foster home with a family and their two male dogs. I get along great with absolutely everyone - children and canines (big, small, male and female). I love to play with my canine friends. And, I absolutely love to splash around in the pool!! It is so fun! My foster mom keeps telling me that I am one handsome boy, but I need to work on focusing on her when she takes pictures of me! I get easily distracted, because there is a lot to see! I do well when I am in a crate and know that I need to be quiet when in there. I will play with toys, but I am more interested in playing with other dogs. I love going for car rides and would love for the window to be open, so that I can stick my head and tongue out out! I have a very short, sleek coat. My foster mom says I might be mixed with a pointer because I always have my nose to the ground and "point" things out when on adventures! My tail will make a complete "O." She also put a martingale collar on me, not sure what it is, but she says I walk very well on a leash. I stay right by her side and do not pull at all. I have not had any accidents in my foster home and my foster mom is very proud of me. I am eager for my forever home, and promise to be the best boy ever! Please reach out and ask all about me!

ADOPTION FEES: $495 non-refundable adoption fee for all vet expenses (spay/neuter, shots, etc.) and transportation to ensure your lab gets to you in a safe, professional manner. All fees may be paid using PayPal, cashier's checks, or money orders. Labs4rescue does not accept personal checks for adoption fees. All adopters must pay their Labs4rescue adoption fee prior to the rescue shipping their dog.

Residents of Massachusetts or New Hampshire are required to pay an additional $125 fee, which defrays the cost of their state's mandatory 48 hour isolation and examination by a licensed veterinarian.
