Fred is a two-year-old, long-legged, lanky mix of...well, your guess is as good as ours! What we do know is that hes 100% handsome, energetic and ready to trade shelter life for a home of his own.<br/><br/>Fred is a certified treat enthusiast who already knows sit and down. Hes eager to please, quick to learn and firmly believes snacks should be included in every training session. Hes also on the lean side, so a few extra treats wouldnt hurt!<br/><br/>This strong, spirited boy is still working on his leash manners. Apparently, no one told Fred that walks are a team activity—but with consistency and guidance, he will get there. Fred also appears to be solidly housebroken, as on his recent visits to volunteers homes and workspaces, he has had 0% accidents. Side note (Fred asked us to include this), LOVES car rides- so if you are a road tripper, Fred is your guy. <br/><br/>Fred loves running laps in the yard, playing with his person and leaning in for snuggles. Fair warning: his affection occasionally comes with complimentary drool.<br/>He has done well meeting other dogs both at the shelter and at volunteers homes, but a meet-and-greet with any resident dog is required to ensure their energy and play styles are compatible.<br/><br/>Fred would do best with respectful children over 10 while he settles in and polishes his manners.
