Flora

Meet Flora!

Flora's story began on a rooftop in Jarretaderas, abandoned with two other dogs and surviving only thanks to the Nayarit animal welfare officer who helped us reach them. She has been with us since June 2022 beautiful, smart, and full of energy but she is not the right match for just anyone.

Flora is a high drive girl who thrives with structure, space, and an experienced owner who can guide her. She does well with most dogs but prefers to be the alpha, and the busy shelter environment overstimulates her. She is great on the leash, incredibly intelligent, and would flourish with training and a confident leader.

Quick Highlights:
Female, spayed, high energy
Good with people and loves attention
Best with an experienced adopter
Needs a fenced yard or large property (no condos/apartments)

Flora is loyal, loving, and ready for the right person, someone who sees her potential and is committed to helping her shine. Serious applicants only.

See more about her: adogsnewlife.org/flora

Adoption Fee: $540 USD/ $600 CAD

Our rescue is located near Bucerias Mexico. We use Petfinder to reach a greater audience for our dogs and adopt the majority of our dogs to the US and Canada.

Because airlines adjust pet flights during heat embargoes for September and October, the dog’s arrival date may vary slightly to keep them safe.

How to Apply:
