Flapjack's Story
Meet Flapjack!

Flapjack is a 15-pound Shih Tzu/Brussels Griffon mix with a big-dog personality packed into a little body. After just a few days to settle into his foster home, he’s already showing what a sweet, affectionate, and confident little guy he is. He loves being around his people and comes running to greet his foster when she gets home from work.

Flapjack is doing great with housetraining and quickly learned his routine, with only one accident in the house. When his foster is at work, he reliably uses a wee pad. He’s also very food motivated, which has made learning the basics a breeze.

He currently lives with both a dog and a cat and gets along well with them. He also doesn’t react when other dogs bark at him while out on walks.

And Flapjack LOVES his walks! Despite his small size, he confidently tackles stairs on his own and eagerly heads out for three walks a day. He’s happy to keep going on longer adventures and definitely seems to think he’s a much bigger dog than his 15 pounds would suggest.

Affectionate, confident, food motivated, and always ready for his next walk, Flapjack is settling beautifully into foster life and showing just how much love and personality he has to offer.
