Fire Keeper's Story

“Every warrior carries a story... and Fire Keeper wears hers proudly.”

Named after the legendary Fire Keeper, this beautiful girl carries markings that look just like warrior paint — a perfect straight line down her face and another boldly across her chest, as if life itself marked her for strength before she ever arrived here.

And strength is exactly what she is.

For months, Fire Keeper sat quietly in the shelter in Louisiana waiting for someone to notice her... hoping every single day that it would finally be her turn to walk out those doors and into a life where she was loved. She absolutely adores children, loves showering people with kisses, and gets along beautifully with all the other doggies here. She has the sweetest soul — affectionate, loving, loyal, and so eager to belong to someone.
