FINN Schnauzer & Terrier Mix Wallingford, CT

Finn looks like a schnauzer mix with his body structure and short tail. and weighs about 20 lbs. His owner died and he after being passes around he finally found safety in a Southern rescue. He gets along well with other friendly dogs and would make a great companion for a home with older children or just adults. We have no history on him with young children. Finn is probably about 3 years old and has a coat similar to a poodle. This coat does not appear to shed out and therefore he will need periodic grooming. He's smart and wants to please and has been excellent in his crate at night. Finn is neutered, microchipped, has had his Rabies shot, a series of 2 Parvo/Distemper shots and 2 Bordetella vaccinations. We had his heartworm test rechecked to also cover several tick borne diseases and he is negative. He has been given his first monthly Heartgard and flea/tick preventative and wormed. Finn is here in CT ready to meet his new family. We will be looking for an adopter who can provide a good vet reference on a current or past pet and hopefully have a physically fenced in yard.
