7/19/26<br/><br/>Hello World! Are you looking for a walking or cuddling buddy? Meet Fin, a handsome, loyal and playful poodle mix 15# and 2 years old. He is housebroken and crate-trained and is currently in a foster home with five other dogs. He has shown great manners and prefers slow introductions with other dogs but adapts quickly once he is comfortable. He is a joyful boy who loves treats, playing fetch and curling up next to you. He has a medium energy level - ready for an outdoor adventure, but perfectly content to snooze on the couch afterwards. Fin really seeks companionship and would do best with other dogs in the home. This social boy is a lover not a fighter and promises to keep your lap full, treat door empty and trips to the kitchen accompanied.<br/><br/>Fin walks well on a leash and only pulls a bit when he gets excited or nervous. He will thrive in a home with a yard where he can run and play with his furry friends. If he doesn't have a yard he would benefit from from daily longer leash walks. <br/><br/>Fin has a lush poodly coat with minimal shedding, but it will require regular grooming every 6 weeks to keep it neat, tidy and tangle free. <br/><br/>Joining a new furever family will finally bring joy to Fins heart. He is one of the sweetest pups you will ever meet! (and when Fin finds his forever family, his sweet, fuzzy face will surely be missed in his current foster home)<br/><br/>Due to his size, activity level and age, foster to adopt requirements are:<br/><br/>Living within 80 miles of Adams, NY.<br/>Having previous/current pets in annually at a local veterinary office and up to date on vaccines as well as spay/neutered.<br/>Being able to bring him back to our vets office in Adams for additional care, if needed, prior to adoption. After adoption, we recommend taking him to your current vet to be established.<br/>He will likely be good with dog savy kids 5 years and over as long as they give him a bit of space to warm up<br/>Willing to have current family members come to a meet and greet to meet the pet and be sure an acceptable match.<br/>Having time available to care for, socialize and start the training of a new pet.<br/>Fin would really like having another dog around to play with<br/>An adoption donation of $500 is being asked if you choose to adopt, but fostering is free.
