Fern Pekingese & Chihuahua Mix Cincinnati, OH

This adorable ball of spunk is Fern! Fern is a 5 lb, 3 year old, Pekingese/Chihuahua mix. She had a rough start to life and, as a result, is very timid. Fern is very nervous when meeting people and will need a very patient owner who is willing to dedicate time to continue working with her. She desperately wants to trust humans and has come a long way while in her foster home. She will require a home with older children or adults only as chaos and loud noises make her nervous. She absolutely loves napping on the couch, playing with toys, chewing bones, and playing with the other small dogs in her foster home. She gains confidence from watching the other dogs in the home and will require a home with another social and confident dog to help show her the ropes. Fern is crate trained and potty trained and is making great progress walking on a leash. She has so much love for life and, with continued training, is ready to trust humans. She is ready to find a forever home that can provide her with all the love, patience, and guidance she deserves. His adoption fee is $300.

All of our dogs come spayed or neutered, fully up to date on vaccinations, including rabies (if age appropriate) and bordetella, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
