Fender's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Stray-PRC-Finder to FosterIf you’re searching for a devoted companion who brings endless joy and warmth, a Goldendoodle mix like Fender could be exactly what your home needs. Goldendoodles are known for their gentle nature, playful spirit, and unwavering loyalty—they thrive in family environments and enjoy playing with toys. With their intelligence and eagerness to please, they quickly become the heart of any household, offering snuggles, laughter, and a constant reminder of how wonderful life with a dog can be.

Yes Fender, a lovable 2 1/2-year-old Goldendoodle mix weighing about 70 pounds, matches that description. He’s dog-friendly, fully housebroken, and loves catching balls or tug-of-war. Fender is making great progress walking on a leash (he is learning not to pull). He enjoys spending quality time with his favorite people and will gladly let you know when he needs more attention (petting)! Fender will follow his humans around the house and lay on the floor/dog bed to be near them when they are sitting down. And is very well behaved when riding in the car- he just stretches out on the backseat saying “l am glad I am coming along with you!”.

Fender greets everyone enthusiastically with endless tail wags as if he has known him/her all his life. He loves giving people his paw and letting it rest on their lap to feel close. Fender loves having out with dogs that he already knows either in the yard or in group play.

He does tend to bark in a social setting. We joke he has decided that he is the welcoming committee saying hello to each person. He also barks at new dogs when he is out of the home which could be his way of wanting to meet them or could be defensive due to something he needed to do when he was living as a stray. Also, he would be best in a cat-free home because he sometimes chases cats. Because Fender is a big dog and was previously a stray we are hoping to find a home with children over 10 years old or no children.

The adoption fee for Fender is $620. This dog comes microchipped, up to date on all necessary vaccines/rabies shots, heartworm tested, and neutered. He is currently being fostered in the Orlando area.

-----------------

***We are a foster-based rescue with no shelter or facility to view our dogs, and our address is a mailing address only. Please be patient as we are an all-volunteer rescue team, and our rescue dogs are in various loving foster homes throughout West-Central Florida. As a general rule we try to limit our adoptions to within the state of FL. If interested in one of our dogs, please fill out an application at www.4luckydogs.org, and we will contact you by phone/text if we feel your application is the best fit out of the ones received.***
