Farrah's Story

My name is Farrah and I am loving my foster home and my foster cavaliers but Mom told me a very special secret a few days ago. She said that I will be able to have my very own forever home because someone will see my picture and love the way my little pink tongue hangs out and will fall in love with me. I am a Cavalier/English Toy Spaniel mix so my tail is docked but I am mostly a Cavalier. I have a beautiful red coat which was cut fashionably short for the summer but is now growing in beautifully. I am 5 years old.

I lost all but 3 of my teeth at my dental so sometimes my tongue hangs out. I eat just fine though – even though I look petite I weigh almost 18 pounds. My past wasn’t very happy but my present is great and my future will be wonderful. My baby making days are over and I am ready to snuggle and play full time!

Farrah has been learning how to be a dog and her foster Mom loves watching her transformation. She knows how to ask to be held and she loves that. She also loves being brushed. She sleeps in a crate at night and has done really well on housebreaking. and barks to go out.

Farrah has been spayed and micro-chipped. At her vet check no heart or patella issues were noted. Take a look at that sweet face but before you fill out the adoption application keep in mind that Farrah needs a physically fenced in yard to play in and would do best with another small dog as a play companion. Farrah is being fostered in Dayton, Ohio.

Please complete an application at ,http://lscr.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=1797 noting that you are interested in Farrah in OH in the field provided, then contact luckystarrescue@gmail.com and advise of your interest.
