Fallon's Story

Notturno Home Services is sponsoring Fallon's adoption fee, so if he is adopted in April, his adoption fee will be covered!

Fallon is a very sweet dog with so much love to give to a new owner. He loves other dogs, and we were told he is good with children. He is a shy pup, but making great strides thanks to his foster family. He is housebroken and even lets his foster mom know when he has to go out. His life has changed so much from being an outdoor dog kept in a small enclosure to now lounging on the couch, enjoying pup cups, racing around the backyard, playing with his Chihuahua foster sister, and even being featured on Fox25's Furever Friday spotlight. He snuggles with his foster mom but will need some time to settle in with his forever family. Fallon is neutered, up to date on his vet care, and ready for adoption. He is approximately four years old and weighs 42 lbs. He is very athletic and can hop over a 4-foot fence, so he does need a 6-foot fence.

The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an adoption application here: medfieldshelter.com/adopt

If a dog is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption; however, there may be applications ahead of yours. We typically receive many applications for every dog we post. All adoption meetings are by appointment.

Our dog adoption fee is $450 for dogs aged seven months to seven years old, and $250 for dogs aged eight years and older. Every dog we place receives age-appropriate vaccines, is treated for worms, ticks, and fleas, tested for heartworm, microchipped, and spayed or neutered before adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash. Please fill out the adoption application if you would like to be considered for a dog in our care.

With few exceptions, dogs are happiest and well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families willing to commit to both.
