All of their siblings have found their forever homes — but these two sweet boys are still patiently waiting for their turn.<br/><br/>Enzo is a 1 year and 7-month-old, 17 lb sweetheart with the gentlest soul.<br/><br/>Despite experiencing hardship early in life, Enzo’s heart remains full of love and hope. He is affectionate, curious, and incredibly smart. His resilience is truly beautiful to witness.<br/><br/>Enzo is timid and fearful at first, especially around new people. Because of his past mistreatment, when he feels scared or overwhelmed, he may react by snap-biting as a way to protect himself. This is fear-based behavior — not aggression — and it improves significantly once he feels safe and trusts his person.<br/><br/>For this reason, Enzo must go to an experienced, patient adopter who understands shy or fearful dogs and can read body language, move at his pace, and continue building his confidence using positive reinforcement. He is not a fit for homes with young children.<br/><br/>Once he bonds, Enzo is incredibly loving, loyal, and eager to please. Every Dog Receives: Vaccinations Rabies (1-year or 3-year) Distemper (DHLPP or DHLPP-C) Bordetella Health Screenings Negative for Heartworm, Lyme, Anaplasmosis & Ehrlichiosis Negative for Parvo, Giardia & Coronavirus Preventive Care Spayed or Neutered Microchipped Flea & Tick Prevention (1- or 3-month protection) We go above and beyond to ensure every pup is healthy, protected, and ready to thrive in their new home. Adoption Policy We focus on creating lasting, loving matches between people and pets. To respect our volunteers’ time and our animals’ well-being, adoption details are only discussed after an adoption application has been submitted. We are a 100% volunteer-run, nonprofit organization, and we deeply appreciate your patience and understanding — our first priority is always the animals. All dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations before adoption.
