Elsa Labrador Retriever Mix Smithfield, NC

I’m Elsa, and I’m a beautiful silver lab mix, about 1 year old. I was found as a stray with my sister, so not sure of my past. But I can tell you about my future. I’m hoping to find a very special family that could understand the needs of a fearful dog. No aggression, but I tend to hide when I don’t feel safe. The world is a scary place and I’m learning to trust, but it’s a long process. I’ve been in foster for several months, and I’ve made so much progress. My foster mom would love to share with you how well I’m doing.

I am good with other dogs and cats. Little kids might be too much for me. I’m house trained, but not so fond of the crate. I’m pretty smart girl and am able to open crate door, as well as the house door and screen door. So, doggy proofing is needed. Extra clips on crate and securment devices for doors. Mom says I’m the smartest girl ever.
