When she arrived, she was terribly matted and in need of gentle care—but even through all of that, her sweet spirit shines through.<br/><br/>Ellington is a very shy and tender-hearted girl who is still learning to trust. Everything about living in a home will be brand new to her—doors, floors, and the simple comfort of being loved. She will need a mentor dog in her new home to help guide her, show her that people are safe, and give her confidence as she learns what it means to be part of a family.<br/><br/>Despite her timid nature, Ellington’s sweetness is undeniable. With time, patience, and love, she will blossom into a loyal and loving companion.
