Introducing Ellie Mae, the sweetest thing since apple pie but is the color of deep, dark chocolate! When she isn't running around the backyard with her foster siblings, Ellie Mae loves to snuggle with foster family. She is so floppy and cuddly it just melts your heart. Even though she is a typical hound dog, she usually only barks and howls when her foster siblings get too rowdy. Ellie Mae is a puppy who is doing well with potty training. She is full of personality and we know she’ll make a great companion. Look into those big hound-dog eyes, those long legs that go on for miles, and we guarantee you’ll fall in love with Miss Ellie Mae!

Ellie Mae is a Hound/mix, weighs 17 lbs (but growing!) and was born approximately 3-28-18. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed, started on heartworm preventative. Adoption fee is $450 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled after your application has been approved. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
