Meet Ellie!<br/><br/>After spending 6 wonderful years in a home, Ellie found herself back with the rescue through absolutely no fault of her own. She may not understand why her world changed, but she hasn't let that stop her from being the happy, loving, goofy girl she’s always been. Ellie is ready to find the family who will make her “forever” truly forever.<br/><br/>Ellie’s Favorite Things & Superpowers:<br/><br/> - 6-year-old Pit Mix with a whole lot of love to give!<br/> - Potty & house trained — she already knows how to be an excellent house dog!<br/> - Dog friendly and loves having fun!<br/> - Kid friendly and ready for family adventures!<br/> - Cats are a definite NO, thank you! Ellie has a high prey drive, so a cat-free home is a must.<br/> - Smart girl alert! Ellie knows sit, stay, down, wait, spin & come!<br/> - Ball & frisbee fanatic! Throw it and she’s ready to play!<br/> - Loves playing tug with her stuffies and showing off her toy skills!<br/> - Excellent at playing catch — whether it’s a toy OR a tasty treat!<br/> - Loves her walks! She is currently working on ignoring distractions and staying focused while out exploring.<br/> - Because of her prey drive, Ellie may become interested in things that move, but she’s working hard on learning to keep her focus on her humans.<br/> - Ellie is carrying a few extra pounds, but she's officially on a get-fit plan! Her love of walks will definitely help those pounds come off.<br/> - Loves scratches, affection, and hanging out with her humans — but she's also wonderfully respectful and knows when it's time to give her people some space.<br/> - No dinner-table diva here! Ellie doesn't beg while her humans are eating.<br/> - Baths? No problem! Ellie is very good for baths and nail trims.<br/> - Dress-up approved! She patiently tolerates being dressed up like the good sport she is. <br/> - Crate trained — and she'll happily go into her crate when asked!<br/><br/>Ellie is such a special girl. She's smart, affectionate, playful, well-mannered, and happiest when she's included in her people's lives. She knows how to have fun, but she also knows how to settle down and simply enjoy being near her humans.<br/><br/>She gave her first family six years of love, and now she’s hoping someone will give her the one thing she deserves most: a forever home that won't give up on her.<br/><br/>Ellie is ready. Her bags are packed. Her frisbee is waiting. Now she just needs YOU.<br/><br/><br/>Age: 6 Years<br/><br/>Adoption Fee: $250<br/><br/>MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com<br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training and grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters
