Eli came into rescue when his person passed away. He has had little training, though is willing and biddable. He is a sweet boy who is looking for a partner to explore the world with. Eli would make a great hiking or adventure buddy and may even enjoy sports. Eli has been exposed to sheep and may make a nice herding prospect.

Eli gets along well with other dogs and will do best in a home with other dogs as playmates. Overall Eli is a blank slate and could go in any direction with the right guidance, and will be placed with a training/medical contract.

Dogs that have not lived previously with children will not be offered to homes where young children reside. We do not 'test' dogs with children or cats, since testing may not show an accurate picture, and may give false comfort to their new home. If a dog has lived with children or cats, that will be stated above. We do not place dogs as ESA, nor will we place a dog as hypo-allergenic. Applicants interested in adoption of a potential service dog must be working with an experienced trainer.
