Echalon's Story
Hey everyone! Echelon here, one of the Freed Thirteen Boxers, checking in to see if I have any fans out there who might be interested in meeting me. I'm ready to find my forever home!

As many of you know, I spent the last several years living outside and being used for breeding. Now that I've gotten a taste of life indoors, I can honestly say it's pretty amazing! Can you believe there are soft beds to sleep on, meals served in bowls, and toys that squeak? I'm still learning how to enjoy all these wonderful things, but I'm catching on quickly.

My foster family says I'm a very good boy. I walk nicely on a leash and enjoy getting out and exploring. I've met some kids and may have shared a little Boxer slobber with them. They weren't thrilled about that part, but I think they liked me anyway! I've also started learning "sit," and since treats are involved, I'd say I'm making excellent progress.

There is one important thing I need to tell you. I would do best as the only dog in the home. While living with another dog in foster care, I became a little jealous of sharing attention and space. After spending so many years without having anything of my own, I think what I really want is a family all to myself. I'm perfectly fine seeing other dogs on walks and could even enjoy a pack walk, but dog parks and living with another dog just aren't for me.

What I really want is something I've never had before a family to love me and a home to call my own.

And one more thing... as you can clearly see, I am one of the most handsome Boxers you've ever met.

If you'd like to meet me, please complete an application or reach out to Barbara at BarbaraABoxer@gmail.com.

Echelon
Age: 7 years old
Dogs: Dog Friendly -Must be an only dog in the home
Cats: Unknown
Kids: 14+ years old
