Earl Labrador Retriever & Shepherd Mix Port Townsend, WA

Hi, my name is Earl! I am approximately 5 years old. I came all the way here from a shelter in Modesto, CA (where I'd been brought in as a stray) when that shelter was full and HSJC had some room for dogs! I flew here on small aircraft with pilots who donate their time and planes via a program called Pilots and Paws (thank you!).

I am a friendly, outgoing boy. I love my walks here at the shelter, and am loving my filled Kong toys too! I was tested with other dogs at the shelter in CA and was found to be fine with them. I can be a little anxious in the car (whining and shaking) so wouldn't make a good RV dog.

I was recently neutered and was urine marking, but that seems to have subsided as my hormones have lessened.

I am up to date on my DAPP and rabies vaccines, micro-chipped, and tested negative for heartworm. I should be kept up to date on heartworm preventative for the next 6 months. My adoption fee is $150 (+ $20 county dog license, if residing within Jefferson County). Staff takes applications for all the dogs here to find us homes that suit our individual needs.
