Dutchie's Story

Meet Dutchie! She is a perfect microbully, Frenchie and Bulldog mix weighing 42 pounds. This sweet girl was found as a stray in southern Oregon and her finders said she was great in their home and with their children. She was then brought to the county shelter and later transferred to Luvable.

Dutchie is gentle, sweet and playful with everyone she meets. She's house trained and quick to learn. She has a TREATABLE congenital condition called gingival hyperplasia that produces excess tissue on her gums, Luvable is providing the vet care to have these tissues removed and several broken teeth extracted.

She fantastic with humans, familiar and new. Dutchie is non-reactive to other dogs in public settings but we are unsure how she is with other dogs in a home environment. We will be testing her with dogs soon and will update her bio soon.

She will bark at and might attempt to chase cats, although when seeing cats on our property she quickly redirected on her own. It's preferable that she is in a home without cats.

Dutchie would benefit from training classes with her new person, she' very treat motivated and quick to learn! She absolutely loves fetch, enrichment and is great on a leash.

Her adoption fee is $475 which includes microchip and completed dental surgery mentioned above.
