Meet Duke!! Age: 1.5 y/o - Male - Approx. 55 lbs. Duke is a handsome blue boy with medium energy and a fun personality. He is crate trained and potty trained; He loves his crate and will go in on command. Some of his favorite things include chewing on his Petstages Deerhorn bone, lounging on the couch, ice cubes, having his back scratched and dinner time! Duke would do best in a home with older kids because he has random zoomies outbursts. Duke had a rough start to life with no socialization and ended up in the shelter which was a very stressful environment for him. When he came into foster care, he was scared and unsure of everything. With the help of his foster parents and (fur) sister, he has learned that he is safe and has really come out of his shell. He does well on a leash, but he’s not comfortable going on walks without his foster sister. With slow introductions, he does well with other doggie friends, however, he has not been around cats. Duke has come a long way in his foster home and would love to find a family of his own who will be patient with him and continue to build his confidence.
