Meet Duchess! She is a 3 year old 57 lb Old English Bulldog looking to find her own throne. She's exceptionally sweet and snuggly gal who bonds very closely to her favorite human. This sweetheart ended up at the shelter when her owner ended up getting sick with cancer and could no longer care for her. Duchess moved into foster home to get some much needed socialization, as she was too scared and overwhelmed with all the loud and scary sounds at the shelter. She's been living with kids (9&13) and cats, but needs to be the only dog in her castle. Duchess is nervous when in a new place with new people, but warms up with lots of affection. While Duchess is totally fine around dogs, and is definitely not looking for any trouble, and can go on walks side by side, she is not sure how to play with other dogs, and prefers all the attention for herself at home. She trusts women quicker than men, but in time likes them too. Once she knows you're her friend she stays glued to your side. Duchess seems to be housebroken, walks great, is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and does well in her crate.
