Dublin Pit Bull Terrier Mix Palatine, IL

Dublin is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. A lucky four leaf clover.  A merry little leprechaun of a dog. Such a zest for life this sweet girl has!
 
Dublin is a 2-year-old Pittie mix weighing about 50 pounds. She is a big sweetie who would happily sit on top of you all day if you’d let her, showering you with love and kisses. She’s not picky, if you’re not next to her to be loved on, she’ll show her doggie friends the same kind of affection. She just wants the world to know she is built for love.
 
Loves include napping in the sun, toys that squeak, and any and all food, including, that one time, a houseplant. Hates the mop and when people move their hands very quickly in her vicinity, both likely as a result of mistreatment at the hands of a previous owner. Sweetly protective of her people, she’ll sit in the window and “talk” to passersby so they know she’s there.
 
Dublin is working on her house-training and does very well when kept on a schedule. She’s working hard at commands and learning fun tricks like “shake.” If she sees something interesting on her walk, Dublin is likely to pull, and with 50 pounds behind that beautiful body, she’s a strong girl, so an adopter that’s willing to help her work on her leash manners is a must.  Other training needs include counter surfing -- with those short little legs, she can’t get to much, but she’ll definitely let you know when she likes what you’re cooking.
