When you first clip on a leash, he may roll onto his back as if he’s a little unsure — but once he gets going, he’s all about sniffing adventures and exploring the world around him.

He’s dog‑friendly (big and small dogs), cat‑friendly, and has been child‑tested with ages 7–9. In a pack, Drake tends to settle into the middle — not dominant, not timid, just a fun, easygoing companion. He also settles beautifully in a crate and is fully housebroken (no marking).

Because of his white coat, Drake has tear staining under his eyes — a common cosmetic issue in light‑colored dogs where natural tears discolor the fur. A quick wipe with tear‑stain spray and cotton pads twice a day keeps it under control. His coat is otherwise shiny and healthy.

Drake is active, playful, and loves to move, but he also enjoys downtime and relaxing with his people. He’s the perfect mix of fun and cuddly.

Ready to meet your new best friend? After vetting, dogs are transferred to foster homes in Pierce, King, and Snohomish Counties—however, many are adopted before they reach their foster homes.

Because we are 100% volunteer‑powered, we meet pre‑approved adopters in Ellensburg to keep transport manageable and fair for everyone. If you cannot drive to Ellensburg, we will do our best to arrange a volunteer driver to meet you in your Western WA city.

Meeting Locations
Western WA adopters:
Approved adopters will meet in Ellensburg within the next 1–2 weeks. Volunteer hand‑offs closer to the new home may be available if travel is difficult.

Eastern WA adopters:
Approved adopters may meet in Moses Lake, Quincy or Omak.

Adoption application link (copy/paste):

https://forms.gle/PUKXrshWYAVhGCYE6
