Meet Dozer

Meet Dozer. He is puppy, about 5 months old and might grow to be about 50lbs. This little boy’s temperament is as endearing as his picture!

Dozer is extremely friendly and will make a lovely companion. He has all of the typical puppy qualities and he will need to start from the beginning to learn all of his basic manners. He is great with other dogs and has not yet been tested with cats.

Dozer was born with a congenital eye defect. There is no treatment. Dozer has some visual limitations and may require followup care with a specialist as he ages. With the exception of his eye, Dozer is thriving and displays all of the qualities of a healthy puppy.

Dozer's ideal family includes someone who is patient, energetic, and committed to loving him unconditionally. Dozer is seeking an adopter who can provide daily walks and exercise as well as completing formal training classes. Due to his disability, we are recommending a home with older children (10 and up).

Dozer is being fostered in Central Mass and the adoption fee is $350.

NOTE: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
