Dove's Story

Meet Dove,

A curious and playful 10-month-old Great Pyrenees and Retriever mix with the cutest face and deepest love of her stuffed toys! This girl is about 30 pounds right now, but needs to fill out some in weight. She absolutely loves spending time outside but also can entertain herself for hours with her stuffed toys and chew bones. She is shy with loud noises and needs to continue building confidence, but her foster family was able to quickly potty train and crate train her in a matter of days. She will do just about anything for a treat! She’s great on a leash and loves car rides. Dove will need help from her forever family to continue working with her on leaving people’s hands and feet alone and not treat them as toys. She knows sit, down, and kennel up and is eager to learn more!

Dove lives with 2 other dogs and loves to play, often getting zoomies just from being outside. Her ideal home would have lots of toys, a fenced yard, and either another dog to live with or a very active family. Due to her puppy stages of biting hands and feet, a home with no kids or older kids (teens and older) would be best.

Dove is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped. Her adoption fee is $350.00.

If you have any questions not answered in this bio email us at projecthoperescue@gmail.com, or to fill out a app to apply to adopt go to our website at www.projecthoperescue.org

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption and up to date on all vaccinations. Please email us at projecthoperescue@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting one of our dogs and we will forward an adoption placement form to you. Because we take the special needs and seniors, our veterinary costs are higher than average. Please consider a donation to help us offset these costs and continue our mission to rescue these unwanted and often overlooked dogs. Donations can be mailed to: Project Hope Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 382, Coldwater, MI 49036. Thank you!
