Meet Dottie
Meet Dottie!
Dottie and her 7 young puppies were lucky to be rescued from a local water plant. The puppies have been adopted and now its Dottie's chance at her forever home. We do not know a lot about Dottie's past, breed or age. What we do know is that she was on her own for a very long time, not spayed, and heartworm positive. Since having Dottie in our care and getting her healthy again we have found that she is the sweetest most deserving dog. She weighs about 50lbs is housebroken and crate trained. We think she would do well with or without other dogs. She has been around dogs of all sizes and plays well with all. She has been fostered by children 7yrs and up. She loves the kids! No cats, she did not do great on a weekend sleepover. She is very easy to handle on a leash and would do best taken out on a leash instead of being free. She can/will jump a fence for a squirrel. She doesn't run away, she can just clear a fence and she likes to keep the squirrels on their toes.

Our dogs are fostered in Texas but available for adoption in the Pacific Northwest... with stops in - Lacey, WA, Tukwila, WA, and Portland, OR. These dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue.
Our out of state adoption fee is $550 for adults and $650 for puppies. This fee includes: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm and flea preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, insurance for 30 days, microchip with registration, health certificate, and transport costs.
As a Saving Hope direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
