Hi! I’m Dolly, a 1.5 year old Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd mix who is a whole lot of fun and ready for a forever home. <br/><br/>I am a highly intelligent, high-energy girl who needs an active family to keep up with me, preferably one with herding dog experience. I recently spent my time hiking the forests of Vermont, but my adopter realized that a quiet home just wasn't providing quite enough mental stimulation for my big brain. I thrive in an environment where I can stay busy, challenged, and active!<br/><br/>I am fantastic with kids of all ages and do great with other dogs after a soft, gentle introduction. In fact, I would absolutely love to have another playful pup at home to help burn off energy. I just get a little jealous at times having to share all my attention and toys. I would be best with no cats because I am a little too fixated on them. <br/><br/>I already know my basic commands and obedience, and I'm looking for a family who will happily continue that training with me.
