Dixie is a very sweet and gentle Greyhound/Australian Shepherd mix who will be 3 years old in July. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations—ready to find her forever home.<br/>Love the ears.. always listening for clues to see what foster mom is wanting her to do. <br/><br/>Dixie is wonderfully well-mannered and easy to live with. She is potty trained, kennel trained, off-leash trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. Shes currently living in a foster home with other dogs and children and does great with both, making her a lovely addition to many types of families. She would also enjoy having a doggy sibling in her new home.<br/><br/>While Dixie is a bit timid when meeting new people, she just needs a few days to settle in and feel comfortable. Once she does, her gentle and loving personality really shines. Shes incredibly well-behaved—quiet in the home and yard, and not prone to chewing or getting into things.<br/><br/>Dixie has a calm nature but still loves to get out and stretch her legs. She would make an excellent companion for hiking, walking, or running adventures.<br/><br/>She is currently on daily medication and supplements for a nail disorder, which will be lifelong.
