He especially enjoys being your shadow, playing with his dog friends and his favorite crinkle toys. He’s a quick learner and is already mastering a few commands. He already knows sit, come, and down!<br/><br/>When he’s not playing, Disco is perfectly happy lounging on a nice, cool floor or curling up in his own cozy space for a nap. He doesn’t mind spending time alone, especially outside. One of his favorite things to do is relax outside on the deck and take in all the sights, sounds, and smells of the great outdoors. He's like Steve Irwin because he has great energy, a warm presence and loves the outdoors! <br/><br/>Disco is also a great car rider and doesn’t get carsick, making him an easygoing companion for adventures near and far.<br/><br/>With his playful personality, sweet nature, and love for his people, Disco would make a wonderful addition to just about any family. <br/><br/>Disco loves his dog friends and is content to just lay beside them all day. He is medium energy, although he does get his fair share of puppy zoomies and will wrestle with other dogs. He makes a great office dog and is not vocal! He loves laying on cold floor and has a classic puppy sploot!<br/><br/>One thing that makes him nervous right now is cars driving by and other dogs barking on walks. Walks are a little intimidating at the moment. But he is getting more and more confident each day! He is a toy thief. Heart stealer. Full-time good boy looking for a place to call home. <br/><br/>He is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. His adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate core vaccinations, microchip, and required neuter when age-appropriate. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dogs age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.<br/><br/>Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.<br/><br/>Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home
