Dice's Story

Meet Dice 🐾

Dice is a small dog with a truly unique look and an even more special heart. This little guy is an absolute sweetheart who wants nothing more than to be close to his people. He’s gentle, patient, tolerant, and incredibly kind—the type of dog who finds comfort simply in knowing he’s not alone.

Dice has been through more than any dog should. He was found abandoned in someone’s yard in the desert, covered in dozens of ticks and crawling with fleas. Thanks to some much-needed care, a good bath, and flea and tick treatment, Dice quickly started feeling like himself again. What stands out most is that through all of the handling, bathing, and careful tick removal, Dice never showed an ounce of resentment or fear. He was just grateful to be cared for and loved.

Dice can be a bit of a crybaby at times and has some mild separation anxiety, so he would do best in a home with patient, understanding people who can help him work through it at his own pace. He’s not asking for perfection—just consistency, reassurance, and kindness. In return, he’ll offer endless affection, quiet companionship, and a whole lot of love.

Dice is proof that even after being let down, a dog can still choose kindness. He’s ready for a home where he’ll never have to wonder if he’s wanted again.
