Meet Diamond
Diamond is a 6 year old female Miniature Pinscher. After spending almost three months at the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society, Diamond was rescued and loves being in a foster home. Her favorite activity is cuddling under a warm blanket. She also loves squeaky toys and rawhide bones.
Diamond is blind due to diabetes. Despite this, she gets around very well. Diamond's ideal home would be one with a patient human parent who is willing to learn about her quirks. In return, Diamond will show you unconditional love. Diamond would enjoy being an only dog or having a small male canine brother. She would be best suited in a home without small children as she can be protective of her food and toys.
Diamond is very playful and affectionate. Here are some links to videos her foster parents made of her playing (copy and paste into your browser):

Diamond receives a small injection of insulin twice a day with her meal of regular kibbles. The cost of her insulin is about $25 every other month.
Diamond is spayed, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and has been examined by our vet. Her adoption fee is $200.
