MEET DEXTER<br/><br/>Dexter is a compact bundle of muscle, personality, and endless energy! At around 3 years old, this handsome boy is ready to experience the world - he just needs the right person to guide him along the way. We believe Dexter is a Frenchie/Terrier mix, and sadly, he didn't have the best start in life. Despite that, he is eager to learn, full of love, and wants nothing more than to be part of someone's world.<br/><br/>Dexter does get along with other dogs, but because he gets very excitable and never properly learned how to meet other dogs respectfully. We are currently recommending him as the only pet in the home. He has not been tested with cats, but we do not believe cats would be a good fit for him.<br/><br/>He would greatly benefit from working with a professional trainer so he can grow into the amazing dog he was always meant to be. Dexter is smart, eager to please, and loves being included in everything you do.<br/><br/>-- Fully house trained<br/>-- Up to date on vaccines<br/>-- Neutered<br/><br/>Dexter does have a cherry eye, which the rescue will cover the cost to have corrected.<br/><br/>In the house, Dexter loves watching the world go by through the windows - and if there's a chair or table nearby to help him get a better view, he will absolutely use it! So a little household manners training will definitely help.<br/><br/>Once he settles down, Dexter is an absolute snuggle bug. He loves affection, adventures, and being close to his people. He has a ton of energy and can be hard to tire out, so he would thrive with an active home that can continue helping him learn and succeed.
