Meet Dennis

Meet Dennis! Dennis is an approximately two year old beagle weighing about 25 lbs. He is good with other dogs but not great with cats. Dennis is an escape artist and is known to have climbed a chain link fence. Dennis is very sweet with people but does not like to be left alone and can be destructive when left alone for long periods of time. We believe that with proper training, he’ll settle down and make a wonderful addition to a family.

With the Covid-19 situation, FURS has temporarily stopped our weekly adoption stands. We can make alternate arrangements for meeting the FURS dogs but would require an approved application for adoption. There is no fee or obligation with submitting an adoption application and applications can be completed on line at www.fursdogs.com

A required step of our adoption process is to conduct a home visit. Since FURS is a very small, all-volunteer rescue, we can only support our adoption process to homes in the Richmond, VA and surrounding localities area
