Denali the perfect pyrenees pup

Meet Denali, a handsome 5-month-old Great Pyrenees puppy with big paws, an even bigger heart, and so much love to give! This sweet boy is currently fostered in Middleton, Wisconsin, where he's proving to be an absolutely wonderful houseguest. Denali is already potty trained and crate trained, although he's so well-behaved and non-destructive that his foster family doesn't even need to crate him! He absolutely LOVES other dogs and is happiest when he has canine companions around. In fact, we're prioritizing a forever home with another friendly dog because we believe Denali would thrive with a four-legged best friend. As a Great Pyrenees, he's expected to grow into a large dog, so his future family should be prepared for plenty of love, fluff, and big puppy paws!

Denali's journey to Wisconsin was a little different from most. After being found as a stray in Texas with a serious hip injury, believed to have been caused by a vehicle, he underwent a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) before traveling north. This procedure removes the damaged ball portion of the hip joint, allowing a functional false joint to develop as the area heals. Denali has been recovering beautifully in foster care and is ready to find his very own family.

Health & Vetting:
Denali is up to date on vaccinations for his age, dewormed, up to date on flea prevention and microchipped. He will come with medical records and a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian confirming good health prior to his arrival in Wisconsin.

Adoption Fee: $500.

About Our Rescue:
Adoption fees help cover the cost of care for all of our dogs, including those with significant medical needs.

Interested in Adopting?
Email us at DogTrailRides@gmail.com

We accept payment via Zelle, Venmo, or credit card (processed securely through Square).

Learn more about us and Join our community:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity

Please note: Breed and age are estimated based on veterinary input and available history.
