Denali's Story

Meet Denali: a 180-pound masterpiece in a tuxedo coat who truly believes hes just a slightly oversized lap dog. At three years old, this 100% purebred Great Dane is the definition of a gentle giant. Whether hes elegantly lounging on the sofa or entertaining you with a sudden burst of "big boy zoomies," Denali brings a majestic yet goofy presence to every room. Hes a social butterfly who gets along famously with other dogshes particularly charming with the little onesand his patient nature makes him a wonderful companion for gentle children.

Life with Denali is full of personality. He is already house and leash trained, making him a dream to bring along on neighborhood strolls, though he does have a few adorable quirks. He is inexplicably suspicious of artificial Christmas trees and, given his height, he occasionally forgets that the kitchen counters aren't his personal buffet. Because of his massive size and "counter surfing" potential, hed thrive best with an adopter who understands the Dane lifestyle and can keep the snacks out of reach.

If you have room in your heart (and a very large piece of furniture) for this handsome, healthy boy, he is more than ready to meet you. Denali is looking for a family who will appreciate his loyal nature and provide the slow-paced, loving life he deserves. Please reach out to Goodest Dog Rescue to learn more about bringing this big-hearted guy into your life.

Goodest's Adoption Policy
Goodest prioritizes responsible, permanent placements over speed or volume. Potential adopters must complete an application, participate in a screening process, and demonstrate the ability to meet the specific needs of a large-breed dog, including space, time, financial resources, and experience where appropriate. We match dogs intentionally based on temperament, medical and behavioral needs, and the adopter’s lifestyle, and we require an adoption contract to ensure long-term accountability and the dog’s continued welfare.
