Our Mission
Goodest saves the lives of gentle giants—primarily Great Danes—by specializing in complex medical cases rejected by other rescues, providing comprehensive care through our foster network, and ensuring every dog finds their forever home.
Adoption Policy
Goodest prioritizes responsible, permanent placements over speed or volume. Potential adopters must complete an application, participate in a screening process, and demonstrate the ability to meet the specific needs of a large-breed dog, including space, time, financial resources, and experience where appropriate. We match dogs intentionally based on temperament, medical and behavioral needs, and the adopter’s lifestyle, and we require an adoption contract to ensure long-term accountability and the dog’s continued welfare.
