Deliah American Staffordshire Terrier The Dalles, OR

Say hello to our friend Deliah! She came to us as a stray at about 4 months old and unfortunately, she has grown up in the shelter environment. We think she's a pittie mix and was born around May of 2021.

Deliah has a lot of potential to be a great companion for somebody. She has bonded to the staff and melts in your hands, wanting belly rubs and loves. She doesn't have the best social skills with other dogs as she grew up in an animal shelter, but she has made a few dog friends. She could potentially live with another dog depending on their energy level and her introduction into the home. She should not live with cats.

Deliah is very smart and has learned a lot of new commands since being here. She knows sit, down, knows her name and is working on stay. She eagerly works for food rewards and focuses on people well. Deliah would blossom in an environment that continued with training and regular exercise. She just wants someone to take a chance on her.
