In October, Dean and his brother were found wandering around a dog park at an apartment complex. No one ever came looking for them, and before long they found themselves at animal control. Eventually, they were placed on the urgent list. Not because they did anything wrong, but simply because space was running out.<br/><br/>Dean about 8 years old and weighs right around 40 pounds. He’s neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on his DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. He’s also incredibly well house trained, which tells us he was clearly someone’s dog at some point. He’s the kind of boy who knows how to live in a home and does it well.<br/><br/>He’s now spent almost 100 days in the shelter system, and through all of it, he’s stayed gentle, affectionate, and quietly hopeful. He loves being near people, leans in for affection, and has that calm, grateful energy that makes you instantly want to protect him.<br/><br/>At his size, he’s the perfect in between. Not too big, not too small. Just right for couch snuggles, easy walks, and being your little shadow around the house.<br/><br/>Giggles doesn’t need much.
