DAX- Needs a forever home! Jack Russell Terrier Mix Birmingham, MI

Dax is a 1 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix who we rescued along with his brother Bodhi prior to them being euthanized at a high kill shelter. Dax is timid and skittish and takes time to warm up to new people. It appears they did not have much socialization when they were younger. Dax really needs a foster/adopter who is patient and willing to spend a lot of one and one time with him. Good with dogs and cats. Children 10 years old or older. Dax's forever home is required to have a totally enclosed physically fenced yard. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and crate trained. Dax is working on potty training. Dax is searching for a family with patience and love who will show him how to great being a part of a family is all about.

All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. No out of state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Dax's adoption fee is $300.
