DAX- Needs a forever home! Pointer Mix Birmingham, MI

Dax is a Jack Russell Terrier and Pointer mix who we rescued along with his brother Bodhi prior to them being euthanized at a high kill shelter. His estimated birthdate is 7/13/2022. Dax is timid and skittish and takes time to warm up to new people. It appears they did not have much socialization when they were younger, but since being in a foster home he has come a long way and is becoming more confident. Dax really needs an adopter who is patient and willing to spend a lot of one and one time with him. Good with dogs and cats. Children 10 years old or older. Dax's forever home is required to have a totally enclosed physically fenced yard. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and crate trained. Dax is working on potty training. Dax is searching for a family with patience and love who will show him how to great being a part of a family is all about.

All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. No out of state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Dax's adoption fee is $300.
