He does pretty well on a leash. We went for a long long 2.2 mile hike with a group of other people and we didn't finish too far behind. He's definitely afraid of motor vehicles whether they're running or standing still. I actually have to pick him up to put them in my car. Definitely food focused. I'm not too sure about his potty training. His Foster said he hadn't had accidents but we've had quite a bout of them but most likely due to new place/routine. So now I'm using male wraps on him during the day when I'm home because he doesn't alert here. In his other foster home he may have cues that she uses and his potty training schedule is likely different than i am using. Sleeps well in the crate. Only cries a little bit when I leave him in there during the day. Likes to chew so good chew toys help. Loves to be scratched under chin and neck. I wrap him in a towel when we sit in my recliner at night and he'll fall asleep with all four legs in the air and then he snores. Awww! I noticed that three of his paws are speckled tan and white from his beagle DNA but curly tail of pug. So cute! He definitely has a lot of energy.

4/15/26-David did great during his neuter surgery and no longer has his "troublepuffs." Lol And that means... he's ready to find his forever home!

4/9/26-It's 70°, the sun is out, it's almost Friday....and little David has the zoomies with his foster sister Penelope, a SCBR adoptee.
Life is good. He gets neutered next week & then he will be ready to go home.

3/31/26-Baby's first vet visit! He's healthy and vaccinated now. He's settling in so well- he loves playing with my dog Blanket. He's great with big dogs and cats and will be the sweetest boy for a lucky family. Apply to adopt this cutie as he won’t be around long after his neuter!

3/24/26-Look at this cutie! David is not going to last in foster care very long, I can tell. Some lucky family will snatch him up and adore him. Get approved to adopt if you want it to be YOU!

03/22/26-David is a cute about 12 month old male puggle (pug/beagle) rescued from an overcrowded backyard breeder along with 4 other puggle & puggle terrier mix dogs. He has arrived safely thanks to his transport volunteers. We have had many others in past from this breeder & they have all been very sweet & great dogs. His shots, checkup & pre-neuter is Tuesday 3/31 & his neuter is on Wednesday 4/15. Once he is neutered he will be ready for his new home.
