Darling Darcy is ready for her family to find her! Darcy's life before joining the Mutt Scouts Troop was not very kind to her. She was used as a bait dog in a dog fighting ring in Mexico, and the skin around her nose was not healthy enough to survive after sustaining so many injuries, and her right eye needed to be removed as well. Darcy is now recovered as the skin around her nose and mouth are strong enough for her to live a beautiful normal life! Darcy's face does require sunscreen and moisturization, as the skin is always going to be a bit tender, but her epidermis gets stronger every day! We believe Darcy is a 2 year old Chihuahua & Jack Russell mix as she is a petite and energetic little gal. She loves people, kids, and toys... but needs to be the only dog in the home as she still has some insecurities around other dogs. She absolutely adores playing outside and going on walks, cuddling, and treats. - we do not do out of state adoptions except on a case by case basis
