This is what my foster dad says about me:

"I’m almost grown out of my puppy stage. I am house broken and very food motivated. I’m pretty good with commands such as come, sit, stay and am working hard on drop. I love being outdoors and could spend most of the day outside in a fenced yard. I am pretty independent but am very friendly with people, loyal, intelligent and good with children. I love going on walks and am easy to harness and walk.

**UPDATE 9/13/21;

Dakota is STILL at the shelter and we just can't understand why! He's a lovely older puppy at just over 1 year old and would make a great pet for any family. Since he is still doing his silly puppy things, it’s advised that he go to a family with dog experience or one without small children as he is working on not jumping up for attention. Come on in and meet our beautiful, playful and young boy!

Dakota is a handsome and friendly Anatolian shepherd mix who came to CT all the way from Texas. When he first came to Roar, he was a bit timid but quickly warmed up to everyone. Now he greets every staff member and volunteer with a big smile and is delighted to meet new people. He is a sweet and playful boy and would be a great companion for hiking in the woods or playing fetch in the backyard. He would do best in a home with older kids because he is still full of energy and can be a bit jumpy when he is excited to see you. He is a happy boy with a charming personality and will bring lots of love and joy to a lucky family.

Dakota is up to date on vaccinations, is micro-chipped, and is Neutered.
Adoption fee is $350.
