Daisy Mae's Story

Bichon Frise, female, 13 years, 10 lbs.

Daisy Mae is the sweetest little dandelion poof you could ever imagine. She loves to follow you around and see what you’re doing, her little tail propelling her along. She sleeps through the night and loves to be brushed and petted. Daisy also loves to go on walks! She is overjoyed to see you when you get home, it’s the only time she barks! Once you acknowledge her she goes back to being happy and quiet.

Daisy gets along well with other dogs and would be equally happy sharing her home with a mellow canine companion, or as the only dog. It’s unknown how Daisy would be with cats (probably fine) or kids (would need to be older and gentler).

Daisy is diabetic and needs insulin shots twice a day, which she tolerates in exchange for a treat. She is housebroken but because of her age, she sometimes uses pee pads when left. Daisy has been a loyal companion for many years and deserves an amazing retirement home — could it be yours?

*************************************************************************

We are only accepting applications within 90 minutes of Albany, NY. We apologize for any inconvenience.

** If you are interested in adopting this dog, you must first complete an adoption application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PEP/Dog/.
