She appears to be a Great Daniff, a mix between Great Dane and Mastiff. Petfinder does not offer a listing for English mastiff, and that is likely the type of mastiff she is mixed with. Typical of her breed mix, Daisy is very people oriented and loves to snuggle with her foster mom. She does fine with the adult men in her foster home as well.

(Daisy is currently sporting a cone of shame due to a skin infection on her back foot.)

Daisy was picked up as a stray in a rural area. She was never claimed. Wherever she started off, someone liked her. She already knew how to sit and lie down, ride in the car, and what drive-through are all about it. She is to be house and crate trained. Daisy and her foster mom have been working with a professional trainer on leash walking and other skills. The trainer will offer one in person or virtual session with the new family upon adoption. Daisy will benefit from continued formal training classes or to continue on with her trainer.

Daisy has done well with other large dogs that she has met, and currently lives with a female great Dane. Because of her size and unknown background, we are not going to be placing her in a home with cats or small dogs. We recommend a home with children over the age of 8.

*Each pup is spayed or neutered and current on their vet cares.

*We do not hold or reserve dogs. We do not ship or fly.
