Daisy's Story

Daisy is a sweet, young pup with a heart full of love, but she’s had a rough start. Just under a year old, she was surrendered due to extreme separation anxiety and is going to need a little extra support at first. At the shelter, she has just started treatment for anxiety and will likely need continued care post-adoption.

Daisy would thrive in a home where she can slowly learn structure and that being apart from her people is okay. This may include kennel training, extra exercise, and plenty of enrichment activities to help her build confidence and, hopefully, be weaned off her anxiety medication over time.

Despite her struggles, Daisy is a loving, sweet girl who is ready to give all the affection she has to offer to the right person who is willing to help her along her journey.

Our dog adoption fee is $150 and includes her spay, heartworm testing, up-to-date vaccinations and preventatives, and her microchip. You can apply at agcshelter.org/adopt-1 or stop in to meet Daisy and our other adoptables Tuesday–Saturday from 1pm–4pm.

All God's Creatures Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is meant to reduce barriers to adoption. We have a simple questionnaire that does not determine if the adopter is "approved" or "denied" and then we have a conversation about their lifestyle, home environment, and what they are looking for in a pet. Adopters can meet our cats Tuesday through Saturday from 1 pm to 4 pm in our open-concept adoption space! Here, you can sit and spend time with our kitties in a relaxed environment to get to know each personality. While we currently don't have dogs in the building, we do have dogs in foster care. If you're interested in meeting one of them, please contact us to arrange a time with their foster family.
