Daisy's Story

For more information please call or text Vengi at 416-318-7867.

It's simply not possible to be around Daisy without at once being swept up by her characteristic mood of overflowing joy and sweetness. This deeply gentle, easygoing, and well behaved 2 and a half year old isn't merely loving: she lives for love, breathes it, celebrates it, radiates it from her adoring eyes to the tip of her rapturously wagging tail, creating an enchanted atmosphere of love and gaiety and gratitude and abounding happiness wherever she goes. Next to cuddling, being patted, and getting belly rubs, the last of which she gently exacts from her returning humans as the price of entering the house after any period of absence, her favorite thing in the world is to play in a spirit of absolute delight with that marvel of marvels commonly known as a garden hose. Watch her do her ecstatic water dance and you'll see the purest and most adorable embodiment of Blake's famous dictum: "Exuberance is beauty." Through all of life's vicissitudes, Daisy will be, for her adoptive family, an endless source of joy, wonder, and consolation.

Daisy hasn't been fixed because she recently went into heat, but we will arrange and pay for her to be spayed when she's had a chance to recover and is ready to undergo surgery.
