D.J.

Meet D.J.

D.J. was found at just 6 weeks old with his seven siblings, hiding under brush near the Colibri neighborhood in Bucerias. Scared, tiny, and without their mom, they were so nervous at first but with time, they all opened up into playful, loving pups.

D.J. is still the timid one of the group. He is sweet, gentle, and wants to trust, but the shelter environment keeps him a little unsure. With patience, kindness, and a calm home, this boy will absolutely blossom. He does wonderfully with other dogs and would benefit from having a confident dog friend to follow and learn from.

Medium size adult (estimated 45 lbs)
Sweet, shy, and sensitive
Best in a quieter home without young kids
Great with other dogs and learns from them

D.J. deserves a family who sees past his nerves and gives him the chance to shine.
